1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Nutree. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nutree mobile application ("Nutree", "the App", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Nutree in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Nutree is a nutrition and wellness tracking app that helps you log meals and estimate calories and macronutrients using AI-powered food photo recognition, barcode scanning, voice input, and manual entry. Nutree also lets you track water intake, steps, and body weight over time.

Nutree is a self-tracking and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Nutree account. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

4. Account Registration

To use most features of Nutree, you'll need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

Nutree offers a free tier as well as a paid Nutree Pro subscription. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play, as applicable, since all payments are processed through those platforms.

6. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

Nutree uses artificial intelligence to estimate calories, macros, and food identification from photos, descriptions, and barcodes. These estimates are provided for convenience and general guidance only.

• AI food recognition may misidentify foods, portions, or ingredients.
• Barcode and nutrition database information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
• Calorie and macro values are estimates and can vary from actual nutritional content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Nutree. This includes not attempting to reverse-engineer the App, not interfering with its normal operation, not uploading unlawful or harmful content, and not using the App in any way that could harm other users or Nutree itself.

8. Intellectual Property

The Nutree name, logo, app design, and underlying software are the property of Nutree and its developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

9. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Nutree is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or weight-management goals, especially if you have an existing medical condition.

10. Third-Party Services

Nutree may rely on third-party services (such as AI processing providers, nutrition databases, and analytics tools) to operate certain features. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of these third-party services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutree and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including decisions made based on calorie, macro, or other estimates provided by the App.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Nutree if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Nutree or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App. Continuing to use Nutree after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
