We use your information to operate Nutree's core features: estimating calories and macros, generating your daily and weekly progress views, syncing your data across sessions, providing customer support, and improving the accuracy of our AI food-recognition models over time.

AI Food Recognition & Photo Data

When you take or upload a photo of a meal, it is processed by AI services to identify foods and estimate nutritional values. Photos may be temporarily processed by third-party AI providers solely to generate these estimates. We do not use your personal meal photos for advertising purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we work to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate Nutree, such as cloud hosting and AI-processing partners, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services.

Your Rights and Choices

You can access, update, or delete most of your information directly from within the App. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely by contacting us using the information below.

Nutree is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you the App's features. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
